Webinar Description: Arizona's 2018 Legislative Session promises to me an animated one. This webinar will present AzPHA's legislative priorities for the 2018 session including voluntary certification for Community Health Workers, comprehensive oral health coverage for pregnant Medicaid members, evidence-based interventions to mitigate Arizona's opioid epidemic, and restrictions on texting and driving. We'll include the results of the recently completed Sunrise Hearings and explore some of the bills that have already been introduced that could have a public health impact- good or bad. The webinar will also include an overview of how you can be engaged in the lawmaking process this session.
