About Your Trainer:

After over a decade working in presentational speaking and theater, Aaron is perhaps most comfortable when he is in front of a crowd. With an extensive background in communication and philosophy, he is an expert in argumentation, persuasion, public speaking, and speechwriting. As a novice intercollegiate competitor, Aaron was ranked second nationally, and was later the top-ranked debater internationally. He won the Burton D. Morgan business plan competition, the prestigious Eric L. Clitheroe award for Outstanding Paper in Philosophy, and numerous Speaker of the Year awards. Aaron coached speech and debate at Purdue University to great success, with numerous state, regional, and national award-winners under his tutelage. He has delivered speeches and addresses at global nanotechnology conferences, manufacturing summits, healthcare engineering conferences, and Purdue University’s Entrepreneurship Academy, to name a few.

His years of training and substantial expertise in communication translates into trainings and workshops on the art of scientific presentations, racial and gender sensitivity, conflict resolution, empathy and listening, message management, public relations, strategic communication and branding, television and radio interview preparation, speechwriting, team-building, and effective use of meeting time, amongst many others. He is also available for keynote and after-dinner (entertaining) speaking engagements on topics of the client’s choice.

His passion and expertise will help your organization interact more effectively with the critically important, but often overlooked part of Public Health: the Public itself.
